BRIAN DORN

FROM MY POEMS TO YOURS

 Biography:

Brian Dorn hails from the time-honored village of Ballston Spa, NY.  A graduate of the University at Albany (NY) and SUNY Adirondack. Brian initially made a name for himself by effectively leveraging cyberspace to  circulate his particular brand of poetry on the internet.  Thanks to the world-wide web, Brian Dorn's poetry has reached an audience far beyond upstate NY.

Many of Brian Dorn's poems can be found in his book, From My Poems To Yours (The Live Versions).  Best described as a mainstream rhyming poet, Brian continues to pursue what he believes the general public perceives poetry to be.  Brian regularly attends and supports open mics throughout upstate NY.  He has been featured at several popular readings and has also developed a stage production based on his poem of the same name ("We All").

Brian has enhanced his poetic efforts by collaborating with spectacular artists of different realms (including musicians, dancers, acrobats, and flow artists). Their phenomenal talents have effectively sprung Brian's words into action and launched his poetry into motions above and beyond pen and paper.  Samples of Brian Dorn's work (including videos) can be found on his website at  www.BRIANDORN.com.
